Day 1: Arrival in Chennai
Upon your arrival at Chennai Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and escort to the pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is at your discrete. Stay overnight in the hotel in Chennai.
Day 2: Chennai sightseeing
Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu, attracts many tourists. The city is also famous for its passion for music. In the morning, after having breakfast you will go to explore Marina Beach, Pulicat Lake, Kapaleeshwara Temple, Santhome Cathedral, Edward Elliot’s Beach, Valluvar Kottam, etc. further, you can go for shopping in the markets. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.
Day 3: Chennai-Tirupati-Chennai
Post breakfast, check out from hotel and drive for Tirupati. Tirupati is one of the most religious towns in the country. On your arrival in Tirupati, you will be escorted to the hotel visit Sri Venkateshwara Temple which is the most prominent attraction of this town. Further visit Swami Pushkarini Lake, Akasaganga Teerthan, and much other attraction. Afterward, drive back to Chennai and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay in Chennai.
Day 4: Chennai-Kanchipuram-Mahabalipuram
Next day head towards Mahabalipuram and en route visit Kanchipuram which is also known as Kanchi. The town is considered as a holy pilgrimage site as it is the home of many temples. Visit Kalisanathar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and well-known for its intricate sandstone carvings. Later continue towards Mahabalipuram and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mahabalipuram.
Day 5: Mahabalipuram-Tiruvannamalai-Pondicherry
Post breakfast, visit Shore temple, Thirukadalmallai, Varaha Mandapa, Trimurti cave temple, and other main temples in Mahabalipuram. Later check-out from the hotel and proceed for Tiruvannamalai wherein you will visit ancient Arulmigu, Arunachaleswarar Temple and huge Sathanur Dam. Afterward, leave for Pondicherry – the “French Riviera of the East”. Upon your arrival in Pondicherry, you will be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay in Pondicherry.
Day 6: Pondicherry sightseeing
After having breakfast you will depart early for an excursion of Pondicherry. Pondicherry is the largest union territory. On your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Further, you will visit Promenade Beach, Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple, Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Rock Beach, Our Lady of Angels Church, etc. Return to the hotel and stay overnight at Thanjavur hotel.
Day 7: Pondicherry-Chidambaram-Thanjavur
In the morning, you will depart for Thanjavur. Thanjavur is a significant city of South Indian culture, art, and architecture. On arrival, you will be escorted to the hotel. Later, you will go to explore the great Chola Temple- UNESCO world heritage monument, Brihadeeswara Temple, Thanjavur Maratha Palace, Thanjai Mamani Koil. Return to the hotel and stay overnight at Thanjavur hotel.
Day 8: Thanjavur-Trichy
After having breakfast you will depart early for Trichy. On your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. Further, you will visit Rangnathanswamy Temple- a generously spruced up temple complex which dates back more than 1,000 years with 7 enclosures, Ucchi Pillayar Temple, Rockfort – a 7th-century temple devoted to Lord Ganesha which is located at the top of Rockfort, Kallanai Dam – an ancient dam which has an acoustic view built across the Kaveri river. Stay overnight in hotel at Trichy.
Day 9: Trichy-Madurai
Have breakfast and check out from the hotel to depart to Madurai. Upon arrival, you will be escorted to the hotel. Take some rest and further, you will visit the world famous Meenakshi Amman Temple- the most perfect example of Dravidian architecture, Gandhi Memorial Museum, Koodal Azhagar Temple, Alagar Koyil, Thirupparamkunram Murugan Temple, etc Return to the hotel to stay overnight in Madurai.
Day 10: Madurai-Kanyakumari
After having breakfast, you will drive to Kanyakumari. It is a famous tourist destination as it is famous for its beautiful views of sunrise and sunset over the beach. On your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel and further you will visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar statue, Kanyakumari Beach, Arulmigu Bhagavathy Amman Temple, Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam, Our Lady of Ransom Church, etc. Further, you will return to your hotel to stay overnight in Kanyakumari.
Day 11: Kanyakumari-Trivandrum
After having breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple- known for its towering entrance and shrine to Padmanabha reclining on a serpent, Napier Museum, Shankumugham Beach, Kuthira Malika- is a palace built by Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma, Kowdiar Palace- built in 1934 by Maharaja Sree Chithira Thirunal. Return to the hotel to stay overnight in Trivandrum.
Day 12: Trivandrum departure
